Ain't no Mommy like a West Coast Mommy

I have 2 boys, a 3 1/2 year old and a 7 month old. They are currently driving me nuts, but they are also making me laugh (it may be the "crazy" laugh right now, but I am sure it will be remembered differently). I live in Orange Country in a 963.5 square foot apartment with my husband, an Australian Shepherd and a mouthy Ragdoll (its a cat). We live in said apartment since it is obscenely expensive to live out here, and we have chosen family over material goods. At least that is what I keep telling myself. My whole family lives here... everyone from aunts and uncles, cousins, parents, siblings and grandparents. No kidding, last count there was like 35 of us, and I wanted my children to grow up with that support system. I am on a mission to get our family healthy; mind, body and soul. Recently becoming a stay at home mom, I have the opportunity to really try to wean us off genetically modified foods, non-organic and non grass fed beef and dairy, as well as to try different parenting methods. I will attempt to document them here, as well as the occasional rant about how precocious toddlers make mommies have involuntary facial ticks... oh, and I'll try to document the hilarious "Grant-isms" of said 3 year old. His capers and observations on life are sometimes insightful, but most often laugh out loud funny. Enjoy... and follow me, I am insecure.
